Description
Fast, convenient care for cold sore outbreaks.
Cold sores can appear without warning and are often triggered by stress, illness, sun exposure, or a weakened immune system. During your telehealth evaluation, a licensed medical provider will review your symptoms, medical history, and current medications to determine if antiviral treatment is appropriate for you.
If medically appropriate, your provider may prescribe one of the following antiviral medications:
Valacyclovir (Valtrex®)
Acyclovir
Early treatment may help shorten the duration of an outbreak and reduce the severity of symptoms.
Your prescription will be sent directly to the pharmacy of your choice, allowing you to use your health insurance or eligible prescription savings programs when purchasing your medication.
